Rate limits and quotas
Per-second limits, monthly quotas and the RateLimit headers.
Each key has a per-second limit (one-second fixed windows) and a monthly call quota set by your plan. See pricing for the numbers.
Every response carries:
RateLimit-Limit: 5
RateLimit-Remaining: 4
RateLimit-Reset: 1Over the per-second limit you get 429 with type rate-limited and a Retry-After header.
On the Free plan, using up the monthly quota returns 429 quota-exceeded until the next calendar
month (UTC); paid plans keep working and bill the overage.
MCP tool calls count exactly like REST calls.
