healthcare.dev
One API for current, versioned US healthcare reference data. REST, MCP, TypeScript SDK and CLI.
healthcare.dev serves US healthcare reference data (diagnosis and procedure codes, HCPCS, drugs, and soon providers) through one consistent API. Every response says where the data came from and which release it is, so you and your agents can cite it.

Ground rules
- Reference data, not medical advice. Nothing here is clinical, coding or billing advice.
- No PHI, ever. Send only identifiers of public things (codes, NDCs, NPIs, names of drugs). Never send patient names, dates of birth, member IDs or anything else about a person.
- Always cite. Each response carries
meta.source,meta.data_versionandmeta.license.
For agents

example /quickstart.md). See Agent skill.
