# MCP server

URL: https://docs.healthcare.dev/mcp

The healthcare.dev MCP server exposes the API as read-only tools built around agent intents
(`lookup_code`, `search_drugs`, `map_ndc_to_rxnorm`, ...). Results are compact, capped at 10 items
and always cite `source` and `data_version`.

Remote uses Streamable HTTP and needs nothing installed. Tool calls are ordinary API calls with
your key, so limits, quotas and billing are the same as REST.
